Mode and Procedure of Application (For General Category)

The candidates are first required to register themselves at the CLAT website by using personal mobile number and e-mail ID. Upon registration, an OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for validation. Click for more information

Procedure of taking Admit Card & formalities on admit Card for appearing in the test

The Admit Card once out is available on the official website of CLAT from where students can download it. The procedure to download the admit card includes entering the Registered Email ID and the password allotted by CLAT.

Exam will be conducted on the 2nd Sunday of May from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Process before and during the exam

The students appearing for the test have to carry their ADMIT CARD/ BLACK or BLUE ball pen along with an ORIGINAL ID Proof. The admit card and the ID will be checked before entering the examination hall.Click for more information

Pattern and Syllabus of Exam

The test has 200 questions for 200 marks that must be attempted within a time frame of 2 hour. The paper has five sections which are:Click for more information

Past year Papers

The cost of previous years’ question papers is Rs.500/- (not included in the CLAT application fee of Rs.4,000/- or Rs.3,500/- as the case may be.)
Note: For downloading these papers, the candidate has to be a Registered User.

Format of Result

The Provisional allotment lists 1,2,3 are available online on the CLAT website in PDF format. To check the individual CLAT result, the student first needs to visit the website and then enter the Registered Email ID and the Password provided by CLAT.
