IBPS CL: IBPS CLERK Exam Pattern

The IBPS clerk exam occurs in two phases: Prelims and Mains. These examinations are conducted online. The examination structure is as follows:

STAGE-1: IBPS CLERK PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

There are three sections in total including Aptitude, Reasoning and English. A candidate must clear the sectional cut-off and overall cut-off to proceed to the Mains exam.

IBPS decides the minimum cut-off marks and selects the adequate number of candidates in each category for the Online Mains examination depending upon the requirement.

STAGE -2 IBPS CLERK MAINS EXAMINATION

After few major changes implemented in the IBPS Clerk Examination, it now constitutes of 190 questions which need to be completed in 160 minutes. The questions are divided into 4 sections as given below:
