When is TISSNET held?

The TISSNET notification is released in the month of October (last week) and the registrations begin simultaneously. The deadline for registration is in the last week of November. The exam is held in January and the results are declared in January/February.

The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of TISS- tiss.edu, about 10 days before the exam. After the online examination, candidates are shortlisted for GD-PI based on a merit list prepared by the institute. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for all such updates.

The structure of TISSNET

TISSNET is a computer based, national level examination consisting of 100 questions with time duration of 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).Click for more information

Exam Pattern of TISS- MAT

Who can appear for TISSNET?

There is no age limit in TISSNET. For admission to M.A. programmes at TISS, a bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university is required. Final year students can also appear in the exam.
